it really does look like the FTM folks went out of their way to prevent you from exporting your data and media together. This report has a semi-serious drawback in that it forces the name format to be, (The other report options are customizable and give some useful options, but they don't allow you to get a media link/name. for this purpose I'd select the "Media Usage Report", then right-click on the report and choose "export to CSV" ). I did find (and the main reason I'm replying, in case it helps someone else) that FTM can export a media report in CSV format ( under >Publish, >Reports, >Media. I did get a hold of the FTM software, and as kiwi points out FTM is not capable of exporting media along with a GEDCOM version - they don't even attempt to make a link using relative paths.
